Hi, I’m Sari—the creator behind Feed Your Soul Sari. I started this page to celebrate the healing power of nourishing food and the many ways we feed our souls every day. After recovering from a life-threatening eating disorder, and debilitating gut issues, I set out on a journey to nourish not just my body, but my entire life—and to help others do the same. Food is a big part of that, but true nourishment goes beyond what’s on your plate. It’s found in the people you surround yourself with, your faith, movement, music, and the content you choose to consume. Here, you’ll find a safe, welcoming space filled with delicious, wholesome recipes that are fun, easy to make, and made to feed your soul.

What is the meaning of ‘soul’ in Feed Your Soul Sari?

My faith in God means everything to me. I would not be here today if it was not for His Grace and Love. When I created Feed Your Soul Sari it was one of the darkest moments in my life, and God brought beauty from those ashes. I hope that with this little corner of the internet that I’ve been given I can help to share His gospel and spread His light to others. My philosophy around food is that God gave us amazing and abundant resources. Food should be made as God intended, with real, simple ingredients that nourish the body without restriction. Our bodies are our temples, and we’ve been given the task to care for them. One of those ways is through the food that we eat!

What if I’m vegan or gluten-free?

Many of my recipes are naturally allergy-friendly, and if they’re not, I often share easy swaps to make them work for you and your personal needs.
