Sunday Soul Bites #4 - Take Heart
The Verse That’s Been On My Heart
John 16:33:
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
This week was a whirlwind, not going to lie.
On Sunday we discovered mold in our apartment, not just a little bit… but EVERYWHERE, confirming that the health issues that i’ve been struggling with since we moved are partially (probably a significant portion) environmental. Now, we need to discard of half of our items in our home, as they are now infested with mold toxins.
Then on Monday, I had a miscarriage. It was early, in fact, I didn’t even know… but it still hurts to know that there was loss, and to imagine what could have been had it not happened.
God has overcome our struggles
Not will. HAS. In the past, present, and future. In this very moment, God is bigger than anything we will ever face on earth. Our lives seem so huge, and of course, it’s all we’ve ever known… but our life here on earth is not all we will ever know. There is something greater than any of us could ever imagine waiting for us at the feet of Jesus.
If you enjoyed this reflection, you can get the full version of Soul Bites delivered straight to your inbox every Sunday — with extra gut-friendly recipes, tips I’m loving, and little encouragements from my own healing journey.
Welcome to Soul Bites — a weekly space I created to share simple, soulful reflections, gut-friendly recipes, and life behind the scenes of Feed Your Soul Sari.
This space was born from my own healing journey — and a desire to create a cozy corner away from the noise of social media, where I could encourage and nourish others walking their own path.
Each Sunday, I’m going to send out a full Soul Bites email to my subscribers — with personal reflections, gut-healing tips, faith-based encouragement, and all the little wellness practices that are helping me right now. Most of all, I hope these Soul Bites remind you that you are not walking your healing journey alone.
This post is just a small excerpt from the first issue. If you’d like to receive the full version each week (with even more recipes, resources, and honest behind-the-scenes shares), I’d love to have you join us: HERE
